Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries (hulled and ready to slice) Use ripe but firm strawberries.
  • as needed spray Nonstick cooking spray You may skip this for oil-free cooking by using perforated parchment.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash strawberries and pat dry thoroughly. Remove stems.
  • Slice strawberries evenly — about 1/8–1/4 inch thick for even dehydration.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°F for a few minutes if your model recommends preheating.

Cooking

  • Place slices in a single layer in the basket. Don’t overlap; crowding causes uneven cooking.
  • Lightly coat the top of the slices with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Air fry at 180°F for 15 minutes.
  • Flip each slice carefully using tongs or a thin spatula. Air fry another 25 minutes at 180°F.
  • If you have more strawberries than will fit in one layer, repeat the cooking steps with the remaining slices.
  • Let slices cool slightly; they will firm up as they cool.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

These air-fried strawberries can be used as toppings for Greek yogurt, oatmeal, or desserts. Store cooled strawberries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Freeze for longer storage.
