  • 1.5-2 pounds Salmon filet
  • Kosher salt and pepper To taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice Can substitute with lemon or orange
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Take a large sheet of foil or parchment paper and place it on a sheet pan.
  • Lay the salmon filet on the foil.
  • Season the top of the salmon with kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper, then drizzle it with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, chili powder, ground cumin, and garlic powder. Use a basting brush to generously brush this mixture over the salmon.
  • Place your sheet pan with the salmon in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flaky.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or grains like rice or quinoa. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
