  • 4 pieces Tortilla wraps (8–10 inch size) Whole wheat or spinach are great alternatives
  • 8-10 slices turkey bacon Adjust based on preference for turkey bacon
  • 2 cups Lettuce (Romaine or butter lettuce) Iceberg keeps things crisp
  • 2 pieces Tomato Ripe firm tomatoes like plum or beefsteak, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Regular or light; Greek yogurt is a substitute
  • to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the turkey bacon until crispy in a skillet over medium heat or bake on a rimmed sheet at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
  • Lay out the tortilla wraps on a clean surface, leaving space between them.
  • Spread a thin, even layer of mayonnaise over each tortilla.
  • Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and turkey bacon on each tortilla.
  • Season the tomatoes lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Roll each wrap tightly from one edge to the other, tucking in the ends to keep everything compact. Slice each roll in half diagonally.
  • Store the wraps in an airtight container or individually wrapped in plastic wrap or parchment paper and refrigerate.

Notes

These wraps can be easily customized with different proteins or spreads. For best storage, keep ingredients like lettuce and tomatoes separate if not consuming immediately to prevent sogginess.
