Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 400 g Puff pastry One standard block or sheet; all-butter yields the best flavor, but all-purpose works well.
  • 20 g Fresh parsley Finely chopped for even distribution.
  • 30 g Melted butter Use unsalted for better control over saltiness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Position a rack in the center.
  • Lightly flour your work surface and roll the puff pastry out until it’s even and slightly larger than its original size.
  • Cut the pastry into shapes you like — squares, rounds, or strips.
  • Melt the butter and let it cool slightly so it’s warm, not hot.
  • Brush a thin, even layer of melted butter over each pastry piece.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley evenly across the buttered surface and press gently.
  • Arrange pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silicone mat.

Baking

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  • Transfer to a wire rack and serve warm.

Notes

Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Reheat in the oven for desired crispness. Avoid microwaving as it will make pastry soggy. You can also freeze baked pieces for up to 1 month.
