  • 2 cups apple pie filling store-bought or homemade
  • cooking spray for greasing dish

Topping Magic

  • 1 can cinnamon rolls tube style, cut into quarters
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup chopped nuts optional, pecans or walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and scatter evenly over the apples.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the top, then sprinkle with ground cinnamon and optional nuts.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until cinnamon rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Top with whipped cream or extra caramel if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. For extra indulgence, warm slices before serving and top with vanilla ice cream.
