Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe peaches Firm but yielding to the touch
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Use maple for a vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • a pinch salt To taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the peaches, then slice each in half and remove the pits. Optionally, score the flesh lightly to help the glaze penetrate.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  • Brush the cut side of each peach half with the honey-cinnamon mixture, making sure the coating is even.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for consistent caramelization.
  • Place the peaches cut side up in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, checking at 8 minutes; they should be tender and lightly caramelized around the edges. If more browning is desired, add an extra 1–2 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the peaches and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with ice cream, ricotta, or additional honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days. Gently reheat in the air fryer or microwave to revive caramelization.
