Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp cheddar gives better flavor)
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped (reserve a little for topping if you like)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Serving Suggestions

  • Crackers, toasted baguette slices, fresh veggies for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (an 8×5-inch or similar works well).
  • In a mixing bowl, scoop in the softened cream cheese and add the sour cream. Stir until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add the shredded cheddar, chopped cooked turkey bacon, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer. If you reserved turkey bacon for topping, sprinkle it over now.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the edges are bubbling and the top is lightly golden. If you want a browner top, place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes — watch closely.
  • Let the dip rest for 3–5 minutes, then serve warm with crackers, crostini, crisp vegetables.

Notes

For variations, swap half the cheddar for Monterey Jack, use low-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt, add ingredients for flavor twists like jalapeños or maple syrup.
