Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 6–8 medium limes) Fresh juice is recommended for a bright and tart flavor.
  • 2 cups Sprite (any lemon-lime soda) For a less sweet version, substitute club soda + 2 tablespoons simple syrup.
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (drained) Reserve a little cherry syrup for extra color and sweetness.
  • Crushed ice To fill serving glasses.
  • Lime wedges For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pour 1 cup fresh lime juice into a large pitcher. Use a fine-mesh strainer if you prefer no pulp.
  • Add 2 cups chilled Sprite to the pitcher and stir gently to avoid losing carbonation.
  • Fill serving glasses with crushed ice.
  • Pour the lime-soda mixture over the ice in each glass.
  • Top each glass with maraschino cherries and garnish with lime wedges. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, mix lime juice and soda separately and combine gently to retain fizz. This drink is versatile; serve it at parties or as a refreshing non-alcoholic option.
