Grinch Oreo Truffles
No-bake, kid-friendly festive treats with a crispy Oreo flavor and creamy center, coated in a vibrant green shell.

- 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies) Any variety will work; Thins make a lighter crumb, Double Stuf yields a richer center.
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened Full-fat gives the best texture.
- 1 cup green candy melts For the Grinch-green shell; you can use tinted white chocolate if preferred.
- 1 cup red candy melts For decorative drizzle.

Instructions
Preparation
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse to very fine crumbs. Alternatively, put them in a heavy-duty zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until powdery.
- Transfer crumbs to a bowl and add the softened cream cheese. Mix with a spatula (or beat on low) until fully combined and smooth. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
- Use a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon to portion the mixture. Roll into 1-inch balls and set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes so they become firm—this prevents them from falling apart when you dip.
Coating
- Melt the green candy melts according to package instructions, stirring until smooth. Keep the melts warm but not hot.
- Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled truffle into the green melts, tapping off excess and making sure it’s fully coated. Return to the parchment.
- Melt the red candy melts and drizzle over the green-coated truffles with a spoon or piping bag for a 'Grinchy' accent. Add sprinkles while the drizzle is still wet, if using.
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or pop them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until the coating is firm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator. Freeze on a tray until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
