Hibiscus Tea Lemonade

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags hibiscus tea bags
  • 4 each lemons Juiced
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup Can substitute with honey or agave nectar

Preparation

  • Pour 4 cups of water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil.
  • Once boiling, take the pot off the heat and add the hibiscus tea bags. Let them steep for several minutes.
  • Stir in 4 tablespoons of maple syrup until completely dissolved into the tea.
  • While the tea cools, cut each lemon in half and squeeze out the juice, removing any seeds.
  • Pour the lemon juice into the cooled hibiscus tea and mix well.
  • Transfer the tea lemonade to a large pitcher or mason jar and refrigerate for at least an hour until thoroughly chilled.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with ice, lemon slices, or mint leaves. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
