Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef (80/20) Use leaner if you prefer less fat.
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing A creamy bottled ranch or homemade for brighter flavor.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar gives more punch.
  • 4 slices turkey bacon Cooked until crisp and crumbled.
  • 1 head Lettuce Iceberg or romaine for crunch.
  • 1 cup Tomatoes Ripe, diced.
  • 1 cup Pickles Sliced dill or bread-and-butter.

Instructions

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until the beef is thoroughly browned and no pink remains (about 6–8 minutes).
  • Transfer the cooked beef to a plate lined with paper towels if there’s excess grease; otherwise leave a little fat in the pan for flavor.

Assembling the Bowls

  • Chop the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, slice the pickles, and crumble the cooked turkey bacon.
  • Arrange each component in individual bowls or layer them in a single serving bowl.
  • Add a generous scoop of hot ground beef to each bowl so it warms the lettuce slightly.
  • Drizzle ranch dressing over the top and finish with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.

Serving

  • Serve immediately and enjoy while warm and with crisp turkey bacon.

Notes

Store leftover components separately in airtight containers for up to 3–4 days. Reheat beef gently and only add fresh toppings after reheating.
