Ingredients

For the Dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Best if at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream Full-fat gives best creaminess; Greek yogurt can be a substitute.
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Adds richness and helps the dip hold together.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Melts smoothly.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sharpness and color.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds umami.
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions Reserve a few for garnish.
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper For color and crunch.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, and grated Parmesan. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • Fold in the diced green onions, red bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 1–1.5-quart baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the dip is bubbling and the surface is lightly golden. If you like a deeper brown top, broil for 1–2 minutes while watching closely.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving so it firms slightly.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container within 2 hours of baking. Consume within 3–4 days. For a heartier version, stir in shredded roasted chicken. Consider swapping ingredients for variations.
