Ingredients
  

Cupcake Batter

  • 1 batch Your go-to vanilla or chocolate recipe Make sure it’s fluffy and delicious!

Buttercream Frosting

  • 1 cup Softened butter Beat until creamy and pale.
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar Add gradually for desired texture.
  • to taste Green food coloring gel Add for a vibrant green shade.

Decoration

  • 1 bar White chocolate Break into small pieces for the eye.
  • as needed Black icing or fondant For decorating the pupils.
  • optional Edible glitter For an extra fun decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to your cupcake recipe and prep your muffin tin with liners.
  • Fill each cup two-thirds full with the cupcake batter.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Buttercream Magic

  • Beat softened butter until creamy and pale, gradually adding powdered sugar for a spreadable texture.
  • Mix in a few drops of green food coloring until vibrant.

Mold It

  • Pipe a generous dollop of buttercream into a silicone mold for Mike's eye.

The Eye

  • Place a piece of white chocolate on top of the buttercream and gently press it down.

Freeze It

  • Chill in the freezer for 15 minutes until firm.
  • Gently peel the buttercream out of the mold.

Decorate

  • Decorate cupcakes with the molded buttercream and add details like pupils or edible glitter as desired.

Notes

These cupcakes are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. To freeze, do so without decorations for up to a month.
