Ingredients
For the Crust
- 1.5 cups chocolate cookie crumbs Think classic Oreos or any chocolatey treats

Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and refrigerate.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy without lumps.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, then gently fold this mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the cheesecake filling over the chilled crust, then spoon on half of the cherry pie filling. Repeat with the remaining cheesecake filling and cherries.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings and fresh cherries.
Notes
Store wrapped tightly in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for a month. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving. Save garnishes for just before serving.
