  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with a different cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour Or use coconut flour for variation.
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener e.g., erythritol
  • 1/4 cup crushed sugar-free Oreo cookies Optional for added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray or butter For greasing the waffle maker.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, cocoa powder, alcohol-free vanilla extract, and sweetener until everything is well combined.
  • Gently fold in the crushed sugar-free Oreo cookies for added texture and flavor.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the waffle maker with cooking spray or brush it with butter to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the batter gently into the preheated waffle maker, close the lid, and cook until the chaffle is golden brown (this will vary by device).
  • Carefully lift out the chaffle, allowing it to cool for a minute.
  • Serve warm, enjoying it as is or topped with whipped cream and extra cookie crumbs.

Notes

For best results, ensure your waffle maker is adequately preheated. Optional add-ins include a pinch of sea salt or a dash of cinnamon. For a thicker chaffle, increase the almond flour slightly.
