Strawberry Brownie Kabobs
Deliciously fun and easy-to-assemble kabobs featuring ripe strawberries, fudgy brownie bites, and fluffy marshmallows, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Fruits and Chocolate
- 1 cup Fresh strawberries Ripe but firm so they hold on the skewer.
- 1 cup Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips For drizzling.
Brownie Components
- 12 pieces Fudgy brownie bites Cut from a dense brownie (homemade or store-bought), use chilled brownies for cleaner cuts.
Marshmallows
- 12 pieces Fluffy marshmallows Regular size works best; mini marshmallows are an option but are fiddlier to skewer.
Skewers
- 12 pieces Wooden or bamboo skewers If using wooden, soak briefly only if you plan to grill; otherwise dry is fine.
Instructions
Preparation
- Prepare fudge-style brownie bites and allow them to cool completely so they hold shape when skewered. Chill briefly for easier cutting.
- Rinse strawberries and pat dry. Hull them by removing the green tops and core. If berries are very large, halve them.
Assembly
- Start each skewer with a strawberry (pointed end out), then thread a brownie bite, followed by a marshmallow.
- Repeat the pattern — strawberry, brownie, marshmallow — until the skewer is nearly filled, leaving about 1 inch free at each end for handling.
Drizzling Chocolate
- Melt the chocolate gently until smooth. Hold the skewer over a tray and drizzle the chocolate with a spoon or use a piping bag for neater lines.
Serving
- Serve immediately for a softer marshmallow, or refrigerate on a parchment-lined tray until serving to firm the chocolate and brownie.
Notes
