  • 1 cup water

Serving Ingredients

  • Ice cubes For serving.
  • Mint leaves Optional for garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, peach slices, sugar, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, until the fruit is soft and the sugar has fully dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow it to cool down.
  • After cooling, strain the mixture through a fine sieve to separate the syrup from the solid fruit pieces.

Serving

  • Fill glasses with ice, and add the fruit syrup to your taste preference.
  • Top off each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
  • Garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the fruit syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Mix with sparkling water again before serving. It's best not to store the mixed soda as the bubbles won't last.
